The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested former Minister of Lands Symon Vuwa Kaunda in connection with the illegal sale of land.

ACB’s Senior Public Relations Officer, Egritta Ndala said Vuwa will appear before court on Wednesday December 9, 2020 and will answer charges of abuse of power of office.

Earlier, the bureau also arrested Charles Mchacha on similar allegations.

Mchacha is answering four charges, three of which are bordering on inducing a public officer to perform functions corruptly to secure land.

The other one is for verbally insulting and intimidating Nation Publications Limited (NPL) journalist Bobby Kabango.
