According to our investigations, inspector Victor Masonga, who works at Police Headquarters at area 30 in Lilongwe, spotted the child in April when she was among the bridal party for Masonga’s relative wedding in Chiradzulo.

Between April and 1st May, Masonga has been conniving with his niece to abduct the child to Lilongwe and on 2nd May, it is when their evil mission materialized as Masonga’s niece asked the child to escort her to a birthday party for her boyfriend.

By this time, according to our further investigation, Masonga had already sent a tax to abduct the child and hand her over to him as he was waiting in Dedza where he took over the child to Lilongwe where he defiled her in one of the lodges in Lilongwe’s City Center.
