Corruption, unemployment fueling socio-economic woes – Survey

Opinion Hub’s 2022 survey has revealed that most people in the country are facing a number of socio-economic challenges caused by corruption, unemployment and poverty, among others.

According to the survey results, corruption and unemployment have proven to be highest factors standing at 85% and 80%, respectively, a development economist in the country say is leaving a lot to be desired.

Murray Siyasiya, renowned economist and the Hub’s co-founder, said he cannot say much as the organization is yet to conduct additional surveys to find out the causes of the factors outlined.
