Police in Ndirande Township in Blantyre have arrested a 58-year-old man for allegedly defiling his 15-year-old biological daughter several times in the early months of this year.

According to Ndirande Police Publicist Kelvin Nyirenda, the girl’s grandmother got the news of the girl’s pregnancy from well-wishers.

Nyirenda told YFM that after the grandmother found that her granddaughter was pregnant she reported the matter to the community police members who apprehended the father.

The suspect who is the father has denied the charge of incest despite her daughter revealing November 10, 2021 and will soon   appear before court to answer the charges of incest.
