The Public Relations Society of Malawi (PRSM), in collaboration with The Friends of Mulunguzi Dam and the Southern Region Water Board, has organized the Zomba Mountain Fun Walk and Hike to raise awareness and support for the conservation of Zomba forest reserve.

According to a joint statement signed by PRSM President Benson Linje and Chairperson of the Friends of Mulunguzi Dam, William Assan Jalesi, the 6.6-kilometre hike, from Gymkhana Club to Mulunguzi Dam, is aimed at educating the public on the importance of protecting the Mulunguzi Dam and Zomba Mountain.

The statement further assures participants that security will be provided at the Gymkhana Club grounds, where all vehicles will be safely parked for the duration of the event.
