Entrepreneur and business consultant Kondwani Kachamba Ngwira has challenged students at the University of Malawi (UNIMA) to effectively apply modern technological skills in their business ventures.

Speaking on Thursday evening during a Computing Society public lecture at the university, Kachamba encouraged young people to explore opportunities in the digital economy by using technology to create and grow businesses.

“You can create content for online selling platforms and social media platforms and make money,” he said.

One of the participants, Mike Vladimir Chirwa, a fourth-year Education student, said the lecture had been eye-opening and motivating.

“I will strive to apply what I have learned in my daily life,” Chirwa said.
