The Tobacco Commission has announced that the tobacco market will officially open on April 20 at Kanengo in Lilongwe.

According to a statement released by the Commission, the Chinkhoma market will open on April 21, followed by the Limbe market on April 23.

The Commission has also indicated that farmers delivering tobacco to the markets in Lilongwe, Chinkhoma and Limbe began bringing in their produce from April 13.
