Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA) has exceeded its tax revenue target by K20 billion during the first quarter of the 2026/27 financial year.

According to a statement released by the Authority, MRA collected K1.398 trillion in tax revenue between April and June 2026.

The amount surpassed the quarterly target of K1.378 trillion by K20 billion, reflecting strong revenue performance during the three-month period.
