High Court Judge Ruth Chinangwa has adjourned the murder trial involving seven people accused of killing Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital medical doctor, Dr. Victoria Bobe, to 24 August 2026.
During Monday’s hearing, State prosecutor Abdul Limbe led further examination of the third State witness, Detective Christopher Pangeti, asking him to clarify responses he gave last week during cross-examination by defence lawyer Michael Goba Chipeta.
The additional questioning was intended to allow the witness to elaborate on issues raised during the defence’s cross-examination.
Speaking to journalists after the court adjourned, Limbe said he was satisfied with the progress made during the first phase of the trial.
