Time is fast ticking for reigning Miss Blantyre Hannah Mhone, to hand over the prestigious crown. 

Time flies. It was this same month of October last year when fun lovers congregated at Comesa hall in Blantyre in to witness the crowning of the beauty queen.

Miss Blantyre beyond beauty is now back again this year with two New Non-Competitive Categories, ex-Queens & Hot Mums included.

The October event is scheduled for 13 October, 2017 at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel under the theme “unlocking girls potential”.

Speaking on the sidelines of the International Day of the Girl child, the organizers recognized how outstanding the queen and princesses have been and continue to be.

“We value and appreciate you Hannah Mhone, Myrah Khozi and Chimwemwe Khembo. You ladies have about 72hours holding on to your titles, make the most of the remaining hours and enjoy! See U on Friday at Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel,” they said.

The woza Friday event has Grace Banda, Tryness Sikoti, Zuleika Nanguwo, Dora Mphoka, Madalitso Mwangala, Elidah Gondwe and Alepha Chimombo to battle it out for the crown.

It’s no wonder the event has been the talk of the town since people will also stand a chance to meet their beloved musicians, talking of Pisky, Nesnes, Lulu and many more.
