MCP demands an inquiry on rotten maize at ADMARC

The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) has demanded an investigation on reports that huge tons of Maize got rotten at the Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC).

Interim leader of opposition in Parliament Lobin Lowe told YFM that maize weighing about 700 metric tons is reported to have gone bad at ADMARC.

Lowe said he is surprised government has failed to show parliament the said rotten maize, a development which is raising doubts.

He has therefore asked government to institute an investigation on the issue so that tax payers should get facts on the suspicious rotting of maize.
