State House has reacted to vice president Saulos Chilima’s call on trimming of presidential powers.

Presidential press secretary Anthony Kasunda said President Lazarus Chakwera is prioritizing on reviewing laws that directly affect Malawians including land seditious laws.

Kasunda said once the process is over the President Chakwera will bring on laws affecting the presidency for constitutional ammendments.

Last week, Vice President Saulos Chilima challenged Chakwera to review the laws that protect the president from prosecution.
