FAME supports young talent

A Blantyre based organization, Film Arts Music and Entertainment (FAME) has expressed commitment to provide local young talented individuals with hope and opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Established in 2016, FAME aims at changing the marketing perception of the entertainment industry in the country.

With K5, 000 registration fee, FAME shoots highest quality movies, documentaries and music videos as well as setting best marketing strategies for better profits.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the founder of FAME, Wisdom Kumbukani told YFM that most of the talented young individuals lack financial support to promote themselves.

‘We do music video, arts or documentary to members at cheaper cost than people who are on the market with best quality,” Kumbukani explained.

Kumbukani said the organization also has best strategies that prevents member’s products to be pirated.

The young CEO disclosed that the organization also linked with Rab Processors Limited to host a Diva Photogenic Competition.

“We have linked with Rab processors on a competition titled Diva photogenic. The winner will walk away with K500, 000 and will have a chance to be an ambassador for soap,” Kumbukani said.

Fame operates within Blantyre but has agents in Karonga, Zomba and Lilongwe where youth with talents can consult and join FAME.
