Third week of 2018 TNM super league is set to showcase a Blantyre derby between Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers on Saturday at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
The two giants are set to battle for the supremacy of the first round of the league title.
Officials from both sides have promised to bring joy among their supporters.
Bullets team manager, James Chilapondwa, has sent a message of hope to the Palestinians.
“Yes we respect that wanderers are super league champions but we don’t care about that and it’s the wish of all Bullets players to win this game,” said Chilapondwa.
He further said their preparations went on well without any hiccups.
Be Forward Wanderers Assistant Coach, Bob Mpinganjira, said despite some minor injuries that rocked the Lali Luban road camp, but his side is more confident and come rain or sunshine Saturday will be Nomads’ day.
Mpinganjira did not hide words but to reveal that his side is tired of bowing down to their arch rivals.
“We have put all humiliations we have suffered in the hand of our rivals behind the back and all we are looking for is to collect maximum points at Bingu National Stadium,” said Mpinganjira.
Just like their counterparts, Mpinganjira described their preparations as successful and full of promising.
Currently, both teams have six points from two games but Bullets is on second position on the log table because they have more goals than Be Forward wanderers who are trailing on position three.
Zomba based soldiers, Red Lions are leading the log table with seven points from three games.
