Police in Lilongwe have arrested two men in connection with the murder of two people who were found buried in a compound in Mchesi, Lilongwe.

Public Relations Officer for Lilongwe Police Station Joseph Kachikho confirmed the arrest to YFM and identified the two as Blessings Lifa and Shadreck Ndalama who are suspected to have taken part in the killings.

“Yes we are keeping in custody two men who we believe are in connection with the murder of the two people who were killed in Mchesi area,” he said.

“We are still on ground with our investigations so that we can find new evidence in relation to the killings.”

Meanwhile the dead bodies have been identified by their relatives.
