The Judiciary has appealed to all court users and stakeholders to wear face masks at the High Court premises effective 2 July 2020.

A statement signed by the registrar of the High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal Agnes Patemba has indicated that the move is a Covid-19 precautionary measure.

As of July 2, 2020, total active cases of Covid-19 in the country reached 1069.

In the statement, all concerned parties have been advised to ensure that the mask covers their face and nose and the mask should not be lowered when they are speaking.
