A health expert has advised parents and guardians to give the much needed attention to children to ensure that they are not dehydrated as the country is experiencing high temperatures.
The advice comes after department of meteorological services sounded a warning of heat conditions across the country.
The expert, George Jobe said parents and guardians should ensure that children are playing in shades and having water frequently.
“Parents should monitor their children to ensure that they are not aimlessly exposed to the heat,” he explained.
Jobe went on to say that guardians should prioritize packing water for kids when they are leaving their homes.
Meanwhile, the department of climate change and meteorological services has said despite the persisting hot conditions some areas might experience thundery showers.
