Bullets acquires Blantyre Zero Women’s FC

Nyasa Big Bullets FC has announced the acquisition of Blantyre Zero Women’s Football Club.

Nyasa Big Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Suzgo Nyirenda, said the acquisition is effective February 1, 2022.

Nyirenda said the move is in line with Confederation of African Football (CAF) mandatory requirements for participation in the CAF Champions League.

“We are welcoming a new product on board and we believe Bullets will build a solid women’s team that will strongly compete at national level and be able to participate in regional and continental competitions,” said Nyirenda.

The move means that Nyasa Big Bullets has now four entities namely; Nyasa Big Bullets Senior Team, Nyasa Big Bullets Reserves, Nyasa Big Bullets Youth and Nyasa Big Bullets Women’s Team.
