Red Lions upbeat on licensing

By Chifundo Masanche

Red Lions FC says it is doing all it can in order to meet club licensing and registration requirements.

Red Lions is among four TNM Super League teams that failed Football Association of Malawi’s (FAM) First Instance Body (FIB) club licensing test over the weekend.

The other teams are Rumphi United, Kamuzu Barracks and Mighty Tigers.

Red Lions FC media officer, Joy Khakona, said the team managed to score 83% on club licensing procedure but FAM could not grant the team the license claiming it has not yet been registered for the season.

“The team’s supporters should not to panic because the team is doing all it can to meet the requirements,” Khakona said.
