Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) deputy director general Hillary Chilomba has been named acting director general following the expiry of Martha Chizuma’s three-year tenure on May 31, 2024.

ACB principal public relations officer Egrita Ndala said in a statement that the move is in accordance with section 8 of the Corrupt Practices Act.

“We therefore request all the stakeholders to give the Acting Director General all the necessary support,” the statement reads.

Ndala said the bureau appreciates and values the work and commitment shown by Chizuma in leading Malawians in the fight against corruption.
