PSL to discipline Gaba

Bidvest Wits Malawian forward Gabadinho Mhango is expected to appear before the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee on 18 October 2017 for spitting at an opponent.

The South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) has charged Mhango with misconduct for allegedly spitting at Michael Morton in the game against AmaZulu at Princess Magogo Stadium on 20 September 2017.

Mhango, who si known for his hot temperament, appeared to get upset about a tackle on him and he reacted by appearing to spit into Morton’s face.

As a result, Morton shoved him to the floor which immediately earned him a red card for retaliation by the match official in charge of the contest.

Mhango, formerly of Nyasa Big Bullets, escaped censure and finished the game.

PSL has also charged Morton with misconduct for allegedly offending Mhango’s dignity.
