Mbanandi Saka Mahara Joined YONECO on 10 September 2015 as a reporter.

She is currently the Deputy Chief Producer Responsible for Projects and Programs and she is responsible for generation and review of YFM radio content.

Mbanandi is also the coordinator of mental health project.

She is the holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Cultural Studies and a Diploma in Journalism.

Mbanandi has a particular interest in the Non communicable diseases aspects as well as programs on youth and women.

She is mainly interested in these because it is essential to understand adolescents’ knowledge and practices with the intention of developing preventive programs focusing on this age group.
