Major Lazer to perform at the Lake of Stars

One of the United States of America electrical music act Major Lazer will be performing at this year’s Lake of Stars for the 15th Anniversary of the event held annually on the tropical shows of Lake Malawi.

The grouping Major Lazer is composed of record producer Diplo, and DJs Jillionaire and Walshy Fire and are known for their unique sound mixes reggae with dancehall, reggae ton, soca, house and moombahton.

Their latest single Let me live, is a collaboration with Rudimental which is featuring Anne-Marie and Mr Eazi, is an energetic dancehall-influenced number with accompanying music video filmed by South Africa’s Chris Saunders in Johannesburg.

Apart from Let me Live they are also known for tracks like Lean on, Cold Water and Light it up just to mention but few.

Their headline set at Lake of Stars Festival is part of an African tour with performances in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda.

One of Africa’s hottest groups, Sauti Sol, will also be performing at this year’s festival which will take place on 28 to 30 September 2018 at Kabumba Hotel, Leopards Bay in Salima.
