Under-20 Women’s National Football team squad is expected to be released on Tuesday in preparation for the 2020 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers which starts later this month.
Football Association of Malawi- FAM has appointed former national team player who is also a CAF coach instructor Maggie Chombo Sadiki to manage the team.
On January 17, 2020, Malawi will play its first game against Zimbabwe in the 2020 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers with Maggie sadiki chombo as the head coach for the team.
FAM appointed Chombo along with Kondwani Mwalweni and Scollastica Khunga as the assistant coaches, Wilson Mkandawire is the fitness trainer, Milly Kumwenda and Lina Mtegha are team doctor and team manageress respectively.
Meanwhile, FAM general secretary Alfred Gunda said all the appointed members accepted their new posts after some consultation with Coaches association of Malawi subsequent to the urgent draw and fixture for the impending competition.
