Lilongwe Dairy 2001 Limited has donated blankets to children residing at the Social Rehabilitation Center (SRC) in Lilongwe.

Speaking to YFM Online, the company’s Sales and Marketing Manager Gabriel Peter Phiri said they thought of donating the blankets at the center as one way of giving back to the community.

He said the Company decided to make the donation at the Centre after having a similar one at Bwaila District Hospital.

“This day we chose it to be the day where we should share the blankets to all our catchment area,” Phiri said.

Phiri urged all well-wishers who have the ability and the giving heart to emulate the gesture as a way of reaching out to the less privileged.

Lilongwe SRC is currently accommodating 31 children.
